LOS ANGELES -- Kat Perkins didn't have to wait long on Tuesday night to find out that she was voted into the top 10 by fans.
She was one of the first two contestants to get the good news just minutes into Tuesday's show.
Perkins rocked out in her first live performance on NBC's "The Voice" on Monday.
The Minneapolis songstress sang Heart's "Magic Man" as she faced off against 11 other contestants in the show's first live performance of the season.
"Kat's voice is special because she can rise above and cut through any big arrangement musically," coach Adam Levine said after her performance. "I can't imagine giving this song to anyone else. She's a true rock and roll singer."
