GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Want to trim the calories but not the taste on your next homemade pizza?

Brian Banick, of SOLOS Pizza, joined KARE 11 News at 4 with some great ideas.

Here's his recipe:

White Hen Florentine

For a 10" pizza:

  • 2 tablespoons white garlic sauce
  • ½ cup skim mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup chopped spinach
  • ¼ cup diced chicken
  • ¼ cup diced tomatoes
  • sliced yellow onion to taste

The pizza bakes at 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until bubbly in the center. Once removed from the oven, top with fresh basil and oregano. Enjoy!
