MINNEAPOLIS -- Macy's 8th floor has been completely transformed for their annual flower show.

KARE Saturday got a sneak peek at this year's The Secret Garden: Gardens by Bachmann!

The show is at the Macy's downtown Minneapolis store and runs from March 23 through April 6. It is free to the public and open during regular store hours.

Saffron Quinoa Salad

1 T- canola oil

2 oz. - carrots

2 cups- Quinoa

1 quart- water/ stock

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

Pinch –Saffron

1 cup – asparagus blanched

1 cup –English peas/snow peas blanched

2 T- toasted pine nuts

2 T- Lemon Juice

To Taste – olive Oil

In a Saucepan, heat oil. Add carrots, toss. Add quinoa to coat. Add water, salt, pepper saffron and bring to boil.

Reduce to simmer cover and cook 15-18 minutes.

Cook on sheet pan

Add blanched asparagus, peas, pine nuts, lemon juice & olive oil.
