COON RAPIDS, Minn. - He's won several high school and junior titles in the state over the last few years but one of the only championships Chaska senior Jon Dutoit hadn't won was the Class 3A state title.
Now, he can scratch that off his list.
Dutoit led the state tournament by himself after day one and was in position to win the championship outright. While he struggled a little down the stretch, his two-day score of 2-under par was enough to earn him co-champion honors and, more importantly, a win in his final tournament as a high school player.
Dutoit may not be done winning titles in the state just yet. He'll be joining the University of Minnesota golf team in the fall.
