DENVER - The Colorado Rockies beat the Minnesota Twins 6-2 on Friday night at Coors Field.

Twins pitcher Kris Johnson gave up five runs on eight hits in four innings. Johnson was called up Thursday from Triple-A Rochester to pitch for the Twins.

Helping the Rockies seal their win was the return of their star outfielder Carlos Gonzalez, who missed the last 35 games due to a benign tumor on his finger.

The Twins play the Rockies again Saturday afternoon.
