EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - The Minnesota Vikings hosted Cincinnati Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer on Tuesday for his second interview for the head coaching position.
Zimmer arrived at Winter Park at about 11 a.m.
The 57-year-old has a really had a good run recently with the Bengals defense. That unit has been near the top of the league statistically, helping Cincinnati earn a trip to the playoffs the last three seasons.
Zimmer already met with Vikings brass once before, so a second interview likely points towards him being the front runner and maybe even closing in on a deal.
