MINNEAPOLIS - Before the Wild game finished on Monday night Ben Knutson already bought tickets for the Wednesday game in Denver.
Ben and his wife Rachael didn't know if Game 7 in Denver would actually happen, but the couple made a good bet.
After the Wild won on Monday night, they returned home and booked their hotel and flight to Denver.
"It's been a great experience. I hope to go to Chicago, too," Knutson said.
For Joe Jensen, of Columbia Heights, getting to Denver was already planned. He travels for work and happens to be in Denver all week. He'll be watching the game from the fifth row of the Pepsi Center.
"I'm actually going with an Avalanche fan. It's going to be do or die for both of us. I'll be on foreign territory, in the lion's den but it will be a lot of fun," Jensen said.
And then there's Andrew Pietig and his uncle, who are driving to Denver. They leave on Tuesday night. He told KARE 11 the 13-hour drive to see his team play and hopefully win is priceless.
